Did I mention that I hate my sister?

Band practice today was so... awkward. I tried teaching Hayyan, as Cherise wasn't there due to her illness. Gosh, I feel pathetic. The entire practice was probably spent on sectionals.

Realised that there still is a spot on my nail where some super glue stuck onto. Wow, it has already been months. I also find it hard to remember a time where my fingers didn't get stuck while using it. Shall not doubt the power of the super glue again.

I have no intention of starting on my holiday homework anytime soon. Meh.






Hehz, guess I don't really feel like blogging nowadays.
I NEED GAMES! And ice-cream. Its a sudden craving, I know.

Am jealous of my brother watching "Jennifer's Body". Well, I screamed and told him it was NC16 when he said he was going out to watch it, but he just had to remind me that he WAS 16. Bahs.

Also need a new blogskin. Though, don't expect one soon. Its been quite long since I last made one...






Woke up at 7.30am. Left the house at about 8.40am and saw Rebecca at the cafe. Turned out that she wanted me to help her with some math question, but in the end I didn't even know how to do it too. Hah, my math skills are dying.
The seniors didn't come because of some enrichment programme, but I wasn't really expecting him to anyways. We had combined throughout. Mr Yu took the brasses while Mr Yeo went for the woodwinds. Cherise and Hayyan have to work on their note reading. They are able to read, but not fast enough and thus sometimes get lost.
Got released earlier by 30minutes.

Gosh I'm hungry.

I woke up at 11am. Well, I planned to at 10am but was too lazy.

Band practice started at 3pm but I went extra early. The room was practically filled with sec1s. Apart from me and a few other seniors.
Mr Yu did the warm-ups. Also found out that he'd be replacing Ms Leong.
Anyways, we did 'Procession to Peace'. James was missing. His attendance is horrible.
Had to do sectionals in the room and thus it was really noisy. I had to shout most of the time, though I don't think it worked. Cherise and Hayyan improved, in some ways. They still aren't sure of their note-reading though. Spent the entire sectional practice on them. Wonder when I'd be able to practice.
I was almost freezing to death in the room, but no one else seemed distrubed by the temperature. Who the hell sets the air-conditioner to such a low temperature anyways?!

Next band practice will be on wednesday.

I need a new blogskin, but I feel too lazy to actually work on one.

Today, a girl was presenting a speech about a career in nursing, and someone asked if blood bothered her. Her response? "No, I'm a girl." I don't think that I have ever laughed so hard at the frightened look on so many boys faces. MLIA

Heys, I realised that the hightest score for D&T came from our class, with a score of 95 for the overall. Guess what though? I actually scored 95. Yea! I scored highest in D&T in my class and even throughout the entire secondary 2 level. Am I happy or what.

And, I finally edited the pictures that we took on the 24th. Am quite pleased about the result.

Nothing much for today.

I got mad in the morning since the others started insulting me practically the moment we met up. Yeah, they probably think that its just a joke, but I'm getting sick of it. Plus you guys thought that I got mad just because I heard Owl City playing on the radio. (Which seriously dissapoints me) Why would I get angry over something that doesn't even involve you.

First period was spent reading my book. We did almost nothing. Literature teacher talked the usual goodbye speech and went off.

Teacher played Ice Age 2 during D&T lesson. It was getting interesting but then they had to leave because it was time for the clean-up.

Bah, we bascially took care of the windows for the entire session.

Went back for band practice at 2.30pm. Only Hayyan was present. Heard from another sec1 that Cherise decided to skip practice, but James missing as expected.
We had combined for the entire day. And the sec1s will also be playing "Ponyo", oh gosh. Hayyan needs to work on his note reading skills, but that was also a problem for me during sec1. But then again I had Taufiq to help me...
Dimissed slightly late. Next practice will be on monday. Also will be having another performance. Ahh.

Its the last day of school, people. There's a high chance I won't be in the same class as Amellia and Amanda as they choose different subject combinations from me. Grace and WC however will most likely be with me as we took triple science.
Does our math grade count for A math? If so, I'm SO dead.

Anyways I decided to scan in the class photos. Urgh my scanner is so dusty. I'm too lazy to clean it though.

First period was replaced with some survey and thus we didn't have PE. I guess I was feeling quite satisfied until my legs begun to cramp due to the sitting. Urgh.

Science teacher wasn't present. Hahas, I worried myself sick for forgetting to bring my practical book for nothing. We were given some sort of word problems. Tried solving them for awhile before giving up and playing UNO.

Math teacher was too not present. We played even more UNO.

MT. Teacher told us to write down poems or whatever you call them in a different format. Its the format like when you read old chinese books, from the top to the bottom. Don't be surprised that I know about chinese books, my mother used to make me read them but I've quitted long since. I tried using my best handwriting as instructed by teacher. It still sucks.

To the library for CME. It was cold! I spent most of the time reading while the others played cards and talked. Also got a form with the usual stuff like programs we won't attend and stuff. But there was also a notice that we would have to pay $20 for printing purposes. We actually have to pay the school to print? This is actually the first I've ever heard about.

Grace, Wei Chuan and I have decided to opt triple science for our first decision. I'm so sure that I'd have to work doubly hard next year.

But for now, I'm off to play games!






Got back our report slips. The draft one, at least. I still managed an overall percentage of above 70 even though I almost failed my MT, just passed my history with a score of 50 and failed my math terribly. I guess my other subjects like art, D&T, HE etc pulled me up. Hmm.

History lesson was really boring. Teacher tried quizzing us on random things that he showed on the screen.

Amellia and I slept for math lesson while WC, Grace and Amanda played cards.

Did some corrections during MT and got dismissed.

We tried clearing up the locker and gosh I had so many books to bring home. My arms ached.

Band practice was cancelled.

Argh, what am I gonna take for next year? I don't want history, and there is a choice for geography but with POA. Maybe I'll take that. I'm also wondering about computer studies. I am interested, but I don't think I'll be taking it.

MT period was first and we had to do a worksheet. Was feeling so tired and thus grumpy. Urgh.

Got back science results. Was fairly pleased, though I actually aimed for an A1.

Mr Tan wasn't present. Got back our history paper. I got 2nd lowest in class with a 25/50, nice eh? Best part was that the others scored As, with Grace getting top in class. I can't help feeling dissapointed, so don't blame me.
Omfg, how the hell am I supposed to survive another 2 years with history as a compulsory subject?! Just kill me already.

Then we got released. Didn't get our math paper back. I don't think I can handle any more dream-shattering scores anyways.

My small wound I got from saturday is healing nicely, on the bright side. I still fail to see how 'safe' the rusty, paint-peeled safety bars were.







Hahas, COOL! You should probably open it in a new window though. Stupid me made a blogskin with such small space. Shall change in my next one.
Ok. I shall go to sleep now.






Finished eating some crab for dinner and asked mom why we can't consume milk products afterwards as I wanted to eat the cake, which contained cream. She replied saying that I would have a stomach ache, and when I asked why, she told me to try it out as she herself also wanted to know. She's using me as an experiment, hahas.






Don't think that I will be uploading the photos today since I have to get everyone's permission. And my arm is really sore, so editing will be a pain. Probably due to the number of times we played Pirate Ship. I held onto the handlebars like mad for every round.

I woke up at like 2pm today. Yeah, breakfast is probably non-existent on weekends unless I have a good excuse to wake up early.

Yesterday's outing was so tiring, but fun. I woke up at 7.30am, wow.
Escape was so empty in the morning but freaking packed in the afternoon.
We firstly played the Pirate Ship, where I sat with Wei Chuan on the 2nd top row while Amellia and Grace sat on the toppest. Amellia and I decided never to sit that high again while Wei Chuan and Grace decided to always sit that high. Played it a number of times. There was a ride where almost no one screamed. It was sad, since I think I was the only one, along with Amellia. We laughed a lot too.
Think that we went to the Haunted House after that. Wei Chuan was screaming like no tomorrow and my shirt could have broken due to all her pulling. Grace took the lead as she was experienced in there. Then we took the short-cut and amazed the guide.
Also went for the Go-cart. I was kinda freaked out by the engine's noise since it was my first time playing and it sounded like it would explode any minute to me. But I completed the rounds anyways. It was so jumpy in the cart... talk about uncomfortable. Wei Chuan didn't enjoy it at all too, but Grace and Amellia liked it.
We played the Family Coaster too. It was awesome, though it lasted for only a pathetic 44 seconds. Yes, Grace and I decided to time it since it seemed too fast for us.
And then Wet & Wild! It was awesome. I sat with Amellia and smart us placed our bags inside our plastic bag so that it wouldn't get wet. The water was refreshing, though I'm not too sure if its clean. We played it for about 3 times, I think, before going off since we were already soaking wet.

Lunch at mac. The others treated me to lunch, so THANKS! I was almost freezing as my shirt was still wet.

Walked to Ehub for almost no reason and did nothing but take random pictures. We booked tickets for 'My sister's keeper' later in the night. I read the novel about last year and reccomended it to WC, where she found the book in the library. And now we're gonna watch the movie!

Back to Escape. More people were now present.
We played Pirate Ship again.
Then the Ferris Wheel. It was so high and hot.
And then the Haunted House once more.
I got a little ill afterwards. Amellia and Grace went to play Go-cart while Wei Chuan and I rested. They came back afterwards and I was still feeling giddy. Then Grace accidently spilled cold water onto my hands while trying to pour it into my bottle, which woke me up. Hahs.
We then played the Family coaster for close to 10 times for the sake of fun.
(I think I got the order of the games wrong. But it doesn't really matter much, eh?)
Finally was the Pirate Ship once again! I played the first round and sat with Amellia at the 3rd row from the top while WC and Grace sat at the toppest. I screamed, but so did others. Then they played again but I didn't as I wasn't feeling so good. Took pictures but it was blurry, bahs.

Movie time. It was not as cold as expected.

(!Spoiler alert!)

I wasn't really pleased with the movie since the ending was different. Anna was supposed to die! Not Kate! Wei Chuan and I stared at each other when they announced Kate died.
And I think there was an overuse of bokeh for the front part. Yea they were nice, but not too much. I also didn't like how they changed from the present to the past. It wasn't obvious enough and I got kinda lost. The storyline wasn't proper too, but it was indeed hard to put everything from the novel into a movie, so yeah. It was average, overall.

Grace and Amellia got sentimental and I was about to do so too, but WC, who was sitting beside me, was so dry-eyed that I decided not to. And sigh, WC... just how clumsy can you be? Hahas.

Then we took photos of the ferris wheel in Ehub and they presented me with a birthday cake. We didn't manage to eat it as they were rushing for time. It was already 10pm.

Went home with WC.
