I woke up at 6.30am, and reached school at 7.50am. I was outside the band room when I met another band member, who told me that band started at 12pm. He also arrived at the wrong timing, I guess. I wasn't feeling mad, strangely. Just laughed at myself for being so stupid and regretted climbing up the 5 stories.
The security guard regonises me, probably because of yesterday. I went with my mom to buy the books then and didn't wear shoes so I had to wait outside. And now, I arrived for my CCA at the wrong time. I'm horrible at first impressions, eh?
Spent the next 4 hours at home playing the DS and using the computer. Oh well, at least there's a bright side to waking up stupidly early for nothing; I get more time for games.
Finally got back for band practice. My hair was in a mess but I didn't care, hahas.
We had sectionals for close to 2 hours. I can't believe I survived until the end of band practice. I was isolated most of the time and my lips were hurting.
Had combined for awhile and we were kind of messed up since it was hard to follow the student conductor and hard for the student conductor to conduct.

Amellia Ismail: Nope, I plan to start next week. Hehz.

BUAHH! I got the tune of 'Symphonium' stuck in my head and it won't go away.
Tying up my hair when its totally straight is strangely tough. I even had to tie the rubber band tighter so that it won't slide off, like my first attempt.
Ok. Was the only one in my section present for today's band practice. Where are they...
We had warm-ups and did some kind of exercise to get our sound to blend together. I was the first person to get called up so I was kinda tired by the end. My fingers felt a little sore from not moving too.
Had sectionals for an hour. Sat near with Sandy since our seniors and juniors weren't present. Realised that my score for 'Symphonium' was really boring. Urgh, everything just repeats itself. But hey, just because I find it uninteresting doesn't mean that I can play it well. Sometimes mess up on the rhythm, though I am catching up.
Combined practice after a long break. Worked on our rhythm.
I am utterly bored. Started playing Pokemon Platnium after its been laying inside the DS memory card for months. Can't wait for HeartGold and SoulSilver to come out.
Oh, and I have a total of 3 bruises this month. Yea I am aware its only the 7th day. I got 2 from the class chalet and one last night when I knocked onto something in the dark. Ouch.

I don't feel like doing any holiday homework. Oh no. I'll start when my brother returns from work, I hope.

Amellia Ismail: Well, I don't like social gatherings, so I guess its probably just me.
Trombonist: Yep. Done with your blog.

Oh yea, mom brought back Blackie's sister back home for fun a few days ago. She was totally white and named Snow. It should be painfully obvious which is which in the picture, so don't ask.

Oh my gosh I actually straightened my hair. It took about 4 hours for the process to be done. Wee, my hair is now really straight, and flat.
I must resist the urge to twirl it.
Band practice today. I forgot most of the stuff. Cherise and Hayyan were missing. Cherise said that she just came back from overseas, but I have no idea about Hayyan since I don't have his handphone number.
We practiced 'Symphonium' for the day. I'm so happy that I actually managed to cope with the sudden change in time signatures. We had sectionals and Mr Yu came to help James and I. Well, mostly James since he made loads of mistakes even on the simple long notes. Mr Yu and I stared at each other whenever he made errors. Then had combined practice again. We got dismissed late.
I'm so tired. But I must make use of time to play the DS!
Currently am mad at my brother for eating up all the sushi.

Shan't blog much about the class chalet yesterday. It'll be too negative.
Anyways, I found this on my brother's livejournal. Read it!
Every year, English teachers from across the country can submit their collections of actual analogies and metaphors found in high school essays.
These excerpts are published each year to the amusement of teachers across the country.
Here are last year's winners.....
1. Her face was a perfect oval, like a circle that had its two sides gently compressed by a Thigh Master.
2. His thoughts tumbled in his head, making and breaking alliances like underpants in a dryer without Cling Free.
3. He spoke with the wisdom that can only come from experience, like a guy who went blind because he looked at a solar eclipse without one of those boxes with a pinhole in it and now goes around the country speaking at high schools about the dangers of looking at a solar eclipse without one of those boxes with a pinhole in it.
4. She grew on him like she was a colony of E. Coli, and he was room-temperature Canadian beef.
5. She had a deep, throaty, genuine laugh, like that sound a dog makes just before it throws up.
6. Her vocabulary was as bad as, like, whatever.
7. He was as tall as a six-foot, three-inch tree.
8. The revelation that his marriage of 30 years had disintegrated because of his wife's infidelity came as a rude shock, like a surcharge at a formerly surcharge-free ATM machine.
9. The little boat gently drifted across the pond exactly the way a bowling ball wouldn't.
10. McBride fell 12 stories, hitting the pavement like a Hefty bag filled with vegetable soup.
11. From the attic came an unearthly howl. The whole scene had an eerie, surreal quality, like when you're on vacation in another city and Jeopardy comes on at 7:00 P. M. instead of 7:30.
12. Her hair glistened in the rain like a nose hair after a sneeze.
13. The hailstones leaped from the pavement, just like maggots when you fry them in hot grease.
14. Long separated by cruel fate, the star-crossed lovers raced across the grassy field toward each other like two freight trains, one having left Cleveland at 6:36 P. M. Traveling at 55 mph, the other from Topeka at 4:19 P.M. At a speed of 35 mph.
15. They lived in a typical suburban neighborhood with picket fences that resembled Nancy Kerrigan's teeth.
16. John and Mary had never met. They were like two hummingbirds who had also never met.
17. He fell for her like his heart was a mob informant, and she was the East River.
18. Even in his last years, Granddad had a mind like a steel trap, only one that had been left out so long, it had rusted shut.
19. Shots rang out, as shots are won't to do.
20. The plan was simple, like my brother-in-law Phil. But unlike Phil, this plan just might work.
21. The young fighter had a hungry look, the kind you get from not eating for a while.
22. He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck, either, but a real duck that was actually lame, maybe from stepping on a land mine or something.
23. The ballerina rose gracefully en Pointe and extended one slender leg behind her, like a dog at a fire hydrant.
24. It was an American tradition, like fathers chasing kids around with power tools.
25. He was deeply in love. When she spoke, he thought he heard bells, as if she were a garbage truck backing up.

Haven't been updating much eh? Well, its not as if anything interesting happened.
Was watching 'You think you can dance', or something like that on the new TV dad brought. We changed from a Plasma to a LED TV, which I think is worse. Oh well. Anyways, it amazes me how people can do such fast moves without falling. Hmmm. Mom fell asleep halfway through so it got less interesting as there was no one to talk to. My brother was right next to me with the DS, dad is cleaning up his fish tank and sis is using the other computer.
I'm hungry. And oh, I have yet to start on any holiday homework. I plan to do it by the first week of december!

I woke up at 7.15am and rushed out of home. Sigh, why did I have to fall back asleep after the alarm went off.
We had combined practice today. Did loads of warm-up and also tried playing 'Irish tune from Country Derry', or something like that. (Gosh that song it stuck in my head) The notes are high but the rhythm is easy. My mouth hurt. Also went through 'Ponyo' and I think the sec1s got lost. Went through 'Procession to Peace' a few times too.
I intend to make a blogskin today, and hope I will.
My brother rented season 10 of the Simpsons from the DVD store. Oh, the distraction.

There's a class chalet and celebration for Mr Chong's birthday on december. Well, I wasn't informed until Grace asked me if I would be going. Seriously, I didn't want to go at all. I wasn't even told about what, when or where it would be held and suddenly I have to make a choice if I should or shouldn't go. The fee costs $30 too. Even those, like me, who don't plan on staying overnight and only going for a few hours have to pay the full fee. I seriously have no mood to go, but Grace persuaded me, so yeah. Don't expect much fun though.

Amellia: Nevermind, fish is easier to chew on. Hahas.
Trombonist: Yea, hahas. I keep messing up the titles, sigh. Done with the relinking!

Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro is a great manga! I finally finished reading all 202 chapters.
Ok, I shall go sleep now.
10:16 PM
Man, I'm hungry.
Today's band practice consisted of cleaning up the band room, and a game at the end. Sometimes I can't believe how slow they can get, urgh! Hayyan was naturally more helpful compared to James. At least he helped with the cleaning of the cupboard, though he sat in it just after I finishing doing so.
We had extra time left so we played a game. My reaction was too slow and was kicked out soon, hahs.
And, happy birthday Rebecca!

Today was so tiring.
Arriving at 7.30am was useless since the room only opened when it was nearing 8am. We did loads of warm-ups and a rehearsal in the band room.
Left for the performance. We sounded so soft and my valve was slightly stuck even after oiling. Ahs. Don't think that it was good.
Practiced more and more. Had lunch too and the food this time was actually nice! Though the curry vegetables were too spicy and I had to leave them. Sigh.
Went back up in a rush since I waited for Rebecca. We weren't late though and arrived at the exact time, according to her.
More practicing while some people passed by. Dismissed at about 1pm.
I'm hungry! But there's no food at home yet.

So I tried making a blogskin. But my brother said that he didn't think it was nice, so I decided against it. At least I tried, eh? Will appreciate any comment about it!
I think I'll start blogging about band camp now. Be prepared. The time is based to the schedule we were given so no, I do not have such an amazing memory. It's likely estimated.
First day.
0800: Arrived at school and found out that my bag was freaking huge compared to the others. And way heavier too. Oh shoot. I brought too much, I guess.
0815: We first had a briefing and surrendered our handphones. Carrying my stuff up the 5 stories wasn't easy.
0900: Combined. Did some warm-ups and tried reading a new piece. I forgot the name of it, but I remember it consisted of high notes that terrify. Taufiq was there so I didn't get lost.
1200: Lunch! I was so hungry by then. Ate at the food court with Rebecca and Xue Qi and Mavis. But I had to leave early with others for a SLF rehearsal.
1315: Missed a little of the games since the SLF rehearsal was dragged longer than I expected. We still managed to play for awhile. Got split into groups and the group I was in played basketball. I didn't play much since I had no idea about the rules and stuff. I'm obviously not a big fan of sports. My stupid instinct to smack the ball away whenever it comes close also happened when we were supposed to catch it.
1530: Sectionals. Split into woodwind and brasses. I don't think anything interesting happened.
1700: Marching time. Too bad it was drizzling, so we didn't manage to move from our spot. It was much more enjoyable than I expected. Though I sometimes get commands mixed up, I managed to survive. Mr Yeo shouted the commands real loudly.
1800: Dinner and bath time. I followed the others and went to bathe before eating since we would have a better chance of finding a cubicle. I think we were limited to only 3 cubicles for bathing? We weren't the only CCA having and camp too, so it was crowded by the time I finished. Ate later and the food was so unappetising.
1930: Combined practice. I can't remember much. I think we tried reading a new song titled 'Pursuit'. I was lost almost immediately, ahh.
2130: Then it was music/video apprecation time and we had a long talk about it. Got to listen to come music pieces too. There were no videos, sadly.
2230: Started packing and washing up. Also got told that we wouldn't be staying overnight tomorrow but heading back home due to the lack of space.
2300: Went to the ISH and prepared for sleep. Chatted with the others for awhile and almost everyone was still awake. When we were on the topic of chinese names, I actually asked Xue Qi what her chinese name was. It's sad how my brain refuses to think before speaking casually. Almost got to sleep but Xue Qi woke me up by poking me. I managed to sleep shortly after she stopped talking. I think Rebecca was the first to sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night again as I always do for no reason. Gosh it was freakingly quiet. Took me awhile to get back to sleep.
Day 2.
0630: Woke up early while feeling strangely awake. Washed up and changed.
0715: Went down for breakfast! We had to wait for half an hour more since it arrived late. I was starting to feel really sleepy by then. The breakfast consisted of a nugget, some pizza about the size of your fist and a chocolate roll. I didn't eat the chocolate one since I don't like having sweet stuff in the morning, so I ate another pizza from XQ, who didn't want it. It felt good being stuffed. Hahs.
0800: Had sectionals for awhile, I think. Remember Taufiq coming and teaching me the piece 'Mamma Mia'. Hayyan was walking around, oh gosh. But he managed to play some parts.
1030: Games time again. I saw Amellia at the basketball court. We played captain's ball at the field, which was wet and muddy. My shoes, ahh. The ball was wet too. I got to be the defender since no one else went there. Hahas, that was the only position I knew how to play anyways. It sure was more fun than yesterday, ignoring that fact that my shoes were really muddy. I passed by Amellia again when heading back up. Heard her say something about a 'flower'. Hmmmm.
1200: Lunch time, but we had to go for another SLF rehearsal. We practiced more this time since we were given unlimited time. Arms were so sore after carring the stuff up and down. Ate lunch afterwards.
1315: Combined practice. Did 'Mamma Mia' and also read another new piece titled 'Symphonium'. I think its a great new song, though I will really need time to learn it.
1600: Marching was cancelled. People performing for the SLF thing stayed back for more practice. So yea, I arrived home at about 6pm. Or was it 5pm?
It felt so nice to be back home! I ate dinner almost at once as I was starving. Ah, home food tastes so good. Then bathed and watched movies with my brother while eating junk food. Yea, my family rented movies while I was out. Great, uh?
So! About today's band practice.
Arrived at school and went up. Was almost late because I waited for the others to finish talking.
Did the warm-ups and stuff. I can't remember much of what happened today. I'm getting old, sigh.
Had some breakfast break that was about half an hour long. I slept through it since I wasn't hungry. Yet.
Had combined again and the SLF perfoming people went over to the music room for practice. I now have to stand and perform.
Got released at 12pm.
Wow this is quite a long post.
SLF performance is tomorrow. Wish us luck.
